LBX Company has unveiled the latest additions to its long front excavator lineup: the Link-Belt 220, 260, and 370 X4S models. Designed for challenging applications like dredging, road building, and site cleanup, these machines push the boundaries of reach, efficiency, and operator comfort.
Central to their performance is an advanced hydraulic system. The combination of an electronically controlled hydraulic pump and SSC (Spool Stroke Control) technology provides remarkable precision and power management, enabling operators to tackle the toughest jobs with ease.
The reach capabilities of these models set a new standard. The 220 X4S stretches to an impressive 15.5 meters, while the 260 reaches 18.2 meters. The 370 X4S leads the pack with a staggering 18.5-meter reach. In terms of digging depth, the 220 achieves 12 meters, the 260 handles 14.5 meters, and the 370 reaches 14.1 meters.
All three models are powered by an eco-friendly Isuzu Tier 4 Final engine. This engine delivers exceptional fuel efficiency while eliminating the need for a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), reducing maintenance costs. Operators can choose from four optimized power modes—Speed, Priority, Eco, and Lift—to tailor the machine’s performance to the task at hand.
Efficiency and longevity are core features. A 500-hour fuel filter service interval means less downtime, while the DEF tank’s low consumption (just 2-3% of diesel use) ensures longer operating hours. Fuel efficiency gains in SP mode include 4% for the 220, 4.5% for the 260, and 3% for the 370 X4S.
The operator’s cab is a masterpiece of safety and comfort. Certified for ROPS and FOPS Level 1, it features a spacious interior, a 25-cm high-definition LCD monitor with anti-glare technology, and WAVES (Wide Angle Visual Enhancement System) for a 270-degree view. The high-back heated seat, ample legroom, and user-friendly controls create a stress-free workspace.
