ASV, a Yanmar Compact Equipment brand, has introduced its newly redesigned RT-65 Posi-Track loader, representing a significant upgrade in their line of compact track loaders and skid steers. This new model is crafted to enhance productivity, user experience, and performance, specifically for contractors and owner-operators in the construction and landscaping industries.
The latest RT-65 features a Tier 4 Final Yanmar diesel engine, marking a major advancement from its previous version. Peter Ovrebo, Product Management Director for North America at Yanmar Compact Equipment North America, remarks, “We are focused on delivering more durable and high-performing machinery. The RT-65 is a substantial improvement, featuring a complete redesign that enhances productivity and ease of use on the job site.”
This next-generation loader includes a radial-lift design and is powered by a 67.1-horsepower Yanmar engine. It offers an optional high-flow hydraulic system with a capacity of 26.7 gallons per minute (gpm). The RT-65’s efficient hydraulic system and direct drive pumps deliver outstanding performance, with a rated operating capacity of 2,000 pounds and a tipping load of 5,714 pounds.
One of the RT-65’s key features is its Posi-Track rubber track undercarriage, designed for superior traction and mobility. Weighing 7,385 pounds, the RT-65 is equipped with a sophisticated suspension system that includes two independent torsion axles per undercarriage, providing a smooth ride across various terrains. Its low ground pressure of just 4.2 psi makes it particularly effective in steep, wet, muddy, and slippery conditions.
Overall, the redesigned RT-65 Posi-Track loader from ASV is a robust and versatile tool, combining advanced engineering with practical features to meet the demanding requirements of modern construction and landscaping jobs.
